About Me

Hi, I’m Sheralyn Pratt and I’m an author, instructor, and strategist.

Fields I am award-winning in include:

  • Fiction (10,000+ hrs/experience)
  • Instructional design (5,000+ hrs/experience)
  • Martial arts (10,000+ hrs/experience)

Award-Winning Fiction

I am a hybrid-published author with over a dozen books on Amazon.

My 3 award-winning titles are:

As an author, I’m known for my action, plots, character development, and dialogue. The genres I write in are: mystery, romance, and action.

Want to check me out? I highly recommend the Pimpernel series, if you like action with a little romance.

Award-Winning Instructional Design

I have contracted with over a dozen Fortune 500 companies to create internal company trainings to increase productivity and compliance.

Some companies I have worked with include:

  • HP
  • Walmart
  • Boeing
  • ebay
  • Intuit
  • Roche
  • American Heart Association
  • Jabil
  • and more

Over a dozen trainings I scripted have gone on to win industry awards. This, of course, was a group effort. I worked with amazing PMPs, artists, and programmers to create great products that went on to create profitable changes in some of the largest companies in the world.

These online courses focused on:

  • Process training
  • Systems training
  • Vision/culture training
  • Educational material

The move to help smaller companies establish their brand was not planned, but rather an organic step (responding to demand) to working with smaller companies that are ready to grow.

Why? Because there are things you have to do if you want to show up next to the big boys. And years of working with the big boys immersed me in the scale to which they must internally define themselves to survive as a company.

Now I bring those standards to those who are leveling up.

For these reasons, my branding services work best with companies that have been around the block, know their business/customer, but are not finding traction as they try to grow.

What are they doing wrong? What’s missing?

Answers vary, obviously. But one of the elements making success elusive to them is almost always lacking a core brand identity.

Yes, they have a logo. Yes, they have a great website. Yes, they have a product. Yes, they have fulfillment but something is missing.

What many small and mid-sized businesses don’t know is what the actual tools are for solidifying yourself as a power player in your industry. It’s unsexy work that takes heavy lifting to complete, but once you have it?

Everything becomes clear and much easier.

And, if you don’t do it?

Chances are you don’t have a brand that will survive word-of-mouth outside of your circle because strangers aren’t going to do that mental heavy lifting for you. They’ll just forget you instead.

So if you’re ready to be unforgettable, reach out and let’s schedule something.

If you want to learn more on the topic without coaching, I’ve put the basics in a book available on Amazon:

Over 10 Years Teaching Martial Arts

It could be argued that this part of my background isn’t relevant, but it is. My years of teaching shapes how I approach most things professionally.

Mantras I repeated with students, like:

“Practice does not make perfect; practice makes habit.”

“If you can’t do it slow, it will show when you go fast.”

guide me in all other fields to this day.

Teaching Kenpo also taught me to value the basics before trying any tricks.

If you don’t know how to stand correctly, your punches and kicks will be off. And this is pretty much a metaphor for everything.

I have over 10,000 hours of teaching experience with ages 3 -to- adult. I have both won and coached others to national titles. This taught me to work with different minds, temperaments, skill levels, and situations. This experience definitely impacts all the coaching and consulting I do in other areas.

I have a wide variety of skillsets I bring to the table with each client and am particularly good at finding strategies between points A and Z.

If this sounds like something you need, I’m currently accepting new clients. Reach out, and let’s meet!
